Along with treadmill training, an individualized strength training program is developed for each athlete participating in the Athletic Republic Sports Training Programs. We utilize our specifically designed treadmills and strength training equipment to optimize training techniques and provide the utmost in safety. The strength training builds a proper strength base for our performance enhancement programs.
This specialized treadmill provides a speed range up to 28 miles per hour and is capable of an incline up to 40 percent and decline to 10 percent. Raised and lowered hydraulically, these unique treadmills are designed to help athletes improve their speed while reducing force at the knee upon foot strike.
By elevating the grade, runners automatically learn to maintain forceful knee drive, proper pelvic position, high foot carry-through and full extension with every stride. Its subsurface was designed from interchangeable polymers to provide additional shock absorption. The treadmill also has a specially-designed spotting mechanism and handlebar for backward running.
The attributes of incline running, combined with the safety of increased shock absorption, provide the opportunity for repeated exercises under ideal conditions to improve stride length.
Hockey players from youth to professional levels are improving their speed, conditioning and skating mechanics on our patented skating treadmill.

The hockey treadmill incorporates the patented SprintCords to optimally recruit skating-specific musculature. The Plyo Press is a machine designed for the distinctive combination of leg strength training and plyometrics. No other device helps athletes achieve the unique benefit of building strength in ways that also benefit speed.
The greatest muscle activity happens in dynamic exercise such as jumping. The Plyo Press is much more effective than other lower-extremity-strengthening exercises such as squats and leg press devices like the hip sled.
This machine allows injured athletes the opportunity to start their rehabilitation and range of motion exercises before they are fully weight bearing.
The Pro Multi-Hip is a lower extremity exercise device for hip flexion or extension exercises and abduction and adduction exercises. It has the capacity to function as a very high-intensity, high-loading exercise machine for healthy athletes and as a very low-intensity, low-loading station for rehabilitation of both the hip girdle and lower extremity.

Hip extensors initiate maximal force production into the ground, and hip flexor strength has been reported in scientific literature to be the number one limiting factor to sprint speed development. The Pro Multi-Hip optimizes hip extensor and hip flexor strength development. In addition, as the abductors and adductors provide stability about the hip girdle and are keys to change of direction movements, the Pro Multi-Hip provides a dynamic avenue to optimize this development.
Our multi-layered Plyo Platform brings safety and state-of-the-art technique to plyometric jump exercises. With SprintCord technology built into its frame, the Plyo Platform is the only plyometric device that recruits the hip flexors, extensors, abductors and adductors during actual athletic movements. SprintCords enable proprioceptive recruitment of the specific neuromusculature associated with sprinting (on land or ice) and other related motions. Athletes can build powerful motions for sprinting, jumping, kicking or other sport-specific motion.
The PowerCord is a patented training aid that utilizes cords to provide upper extremity resistance to the arms, trunk and shoulders for better movements in sports such as hockey, basketball, volleyball and baseball/softball.
Along with a specialized-training protocol, the PowerCord helps build sport-specific power skills such as shooting, throwing and hitting. PowerCords are used in conjunction with the sport-specific training protocols for volleyball, baseball/softball, basketball and hockey. Athletes looking for improvement in any sport-specific movement utilizing the upper extremities will benefit from using the PowerCord.
To improve throwing velocity, we combine our training protocol with the patented ThrowingCord, manipulating the neuromuscular system and developing strength and mechanics specific to throwing a baseball, softball, football or even javelin. We have observed an average improvement in throwing velocity of 4 miles per hour with college players, and every player from youth through professionals have witnessed improvements in throwing velocity.
Optimizing the mechanics taught by coaches, the hitting Program, utilizing the HittingCord/Harness, recruits all muscles involved in swinging a bat, a golf club or a tennis racquet to develop greater swing speed and hip rotation.
