Alex Blum started playing hockey at the age of four years old. In addition to hockey he also played soccer, baseball and picked up golf in his younger years. When he turned 13 he focused on competitive hockey and through his drive and hard work he ended up playing Midget Major AAA for the Littleton Hawks. At the end of his senior year in high school Alex walked away from numerous chances to play Juniors to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming an Army Ranger. Once again through his drive and dedication to his goals he made it through some of the hardest training known to man and was assigned to 2nd Ranger Battallion of the 75th Ranger Regiment. Alex is out of the Army and currently trains in mixed martial arts focusing on Muy Thai, Judo, Wrestling and Brazillian Jiu Jitsu.
